A burden, a pack,
heavy on the shoulders, a weight that presses us down
We've been taught since childhood to care what others think,
And so we forget our own needs, our wants, we run around
crazy
So busy doing what we think needs to be done,
We forget about resting, loving, living
which adds to the guilt of not doing what you want
because you need to do for others
The children get brushed aside
in the attempts at cleaning, doing
which adds to the guilt of not doing what you need
Either way you're screwed
There is no balance when you're being pulled, and pushed and told
a realm of chaos
echos
and your heart breaks with guilt.
